Manuel Tur steps up to deliver the eagerly anticipated follow up to '0201', his 2009 debut album. 'Swans Reflecting Elephants' is the sound of a dance producer coming of age, making use of the long player format to indulge in a more experimental, darker and introspective take on electronic music. The Essen based artist has been a regular on the respected and highly lauded Freerange Records label since 2007 when he released his 'Acorado' and 'Portamento' EPs, in turn helping to establish a new sound in the increasingly popular deep house scene of that time. Never one to stand still musically Manuel always strives to surprise and challenge and with the new album he succeeds triumphantly, producing a release which takes the rawness of Detroit techno fused with a sample-heavy sound to form something that is both engaging and emotive. Vocalist / producer Blakkat provides his sensual vocals on standout tracks 'Maybe Next Lifetime' and 'I'm Alive', whilst Elina Monova brings a beautiful and otherworldly sound to 'Just Love'. All in all a highly accomplished album with depth, focus and vision, which looks set to be a worthy contender for electronic album of the year. Large groups of starlings fly in murmurations, making coordinated changes en masse; reacting togetheralmost instantaneously, they behave as critical systems. In nature, a system composed of severalelements in dynamic interaction becomes critical when all of those elements influence each other. Whenthat critical state is reached, the system can bifurcate, that is to say it suddenly changes its behaviour:this is what happens during an avalanche or the formation of crystals. In the case of murmurations, themovements of each bird are influenced by those of all the other birds. The starlings have no leader; it isas if they are all interconnected, permitting perfect coordination of the whole. After many collaborations in duo (with Émile Parisien, Michel Portal, Michael Wollny, FrançoisSalque) or within his quintet, Living Being, Vincent Peirani wanted to embark on another form oforchestration, that of the trio. With the Italian guitarist Federico Casagrande, who has been living in Paris for many years, andZiv Ravitz, an Israeli drummer who lives in New York, he forms a hybrid trio, guitar, drums, accordion,in which each musician can take the place of another, to become, by turns, a soloist, a rhythmist, acolourist, and so on.This cosmopolitan formula explores all kinds of music: enigmatic, oneiric, electronic, explosive, colourful, even silent. Everything is permitted and left to the free will of each of the three protagonists.Like the Joker - not so much the fictional super-villain of American comic books as the playingcard found in most card decks (the Joker can replace any other card and also be the highest trump) -all three of them have an equal and at the same time complementary role, and they are sometimes inopposition, unpredictable... Contradiction then adds to the trio´s soundscape, enriching it even furtherand affirming its originality.

In certain circles, FULL OF HELL needs no introduction. This young band has made a name for themselves in a short amount of time, racking up a prolific touring and release history while exploring a gamut of sounds within the spectrum of extreme and avante garde music. Formed in 2009, the embryonic beginnings of FULL OF HELL display their palette at its most primitive, d-beat and blast ridden hardcore punk with spats of noise and caustic rhythm, and within a few short years, they have bloomed into a true force to be reckoned with within the punk and metal communities. 2014 saw the release of their now acclaimed double album collaboration with Japanese noise legend MERZBOW, which showed the band truly beginning to come into their own, combining elements of grindcore, death and black metal, punk and hardcore with a smattering of sonically laden power electronics and industrial pounding. 2016 saw the release of their collaboration with the thundering and depressive duo, THE BODY, entitled One Day You Will Ache Like I Ache. This acclaimed release was followed by a collaborative live tour, where the band bent expectations again in a whirlwind of electronic percussion and drone. 2017 was another prolific year for the band as they released their third proper full-length Trumpeting Ecstasy along with another collaboration with THE BODY entitled Ascending a Mountain of Heavy Light. Excessive touring ensued and now the band has signed with legendary label Relapse Records for their next full-length. Numb your mind. Now in 2019, FULL OF HELL make their Relapse debut with their most explosive album to date, Weeping Choir. Dynamic, pissed, and wholly urgent, the highly anticipated Weeping Choir is a definitive statement of intent by one of the underground?s most dynamic and virulent entities. FULL OF HELL have once again culled the extreme elements from hardcore, metal, and power electronics to redefine darkness and sheer brutality. Distorted guitars, and ominous, disparate electronics grind and gnash against rapid-fire drumming, as FULL OF HELL take themes of religion, loss, hatred, and set them ablaze. Recorded by the critically acclaimed Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studio, Weeping Choir sees FULL OF HELL fully unleashed. Abrasive, confrontational, none equal! The Sims 3 is a life simulation video game developed by Maxis Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts in June 2009. The Sims 3 Pets expansion pack came out 2 years later in October 2011 and it focuses on pet-related content and features, introducing pets, pet skills, motives, wishes, lifetime rewards, and various new activities. The Sims 3 Pets ContentsThe expansion pack adds new features related to the pets. The most important one is the pets themselves – from now your Sim can take care of a dog, a cat, or even tame a wild horse and make it a racing one.Pets are very similar to Sims in that they can also learn new skills, they can have different traits, and can have wishes. Additionally, they have access to their own lifetime rewards. They can also make friends with other pets, fall in love, and reproduce, utilizing the genetics system. Pets, just like Sims, can age over time and will eventually die.The expansion pack also adds new collections, namely lizards, turtles, snakes, and birds. It features a few new music styles, lifetime wishes and traits for Sims, an option to create gourmet food for pets, and more.StoryThe Sims 3 Pets expansion pack, just like the base game, does not have a story. The game has a sandbox nature – it lets you control your family, meet its members’ needs, socialize, and make their dreams come true, giving you a virtually unlimited space to come up with your own stories and play the world according to your vision.GameplayThe gameplay didn’t change much in the expansion pack, as it simply adds new features and items, or, in other words, new ways to enjoy the base game.ReceptionThe expansion pack scored high on the reviews, as reviewers and players alike enjoyed the fact that the long-awaited expansion already found in previous versions of the game made its way to the third one as well. They mainly praised the realistic depiction of featured animals and a lot of extra playability.
TheSims 4 Get Famous is the sixth expansion pack for the life-simulation video game, TheSims4. It was developed by Maxis and released by Electronic Arts in 2018. The expansion adds new celebrity-related features, with the most notable being the Reputation and Fame systems. It also introduces new career options, skills, aspirations, NPCs, objects, and even a hip-hop radio station.Become a Famous ActorThe expansion pack introduces a new type of career. From now on your Sim can become an actor. If you want him to be successful and to get famous, you will need to sign your Sim up for one of the available agencies and prepare him for the upcoming auditions.Help him practice his lines, take care of his hairstyle and costume, and then head to the main stage. Work hard to unlock new career opportunities, and maybe one day your Sim will become the next Clint Eastwood.Additionally, teens may now also enroll in the new afterschool activity, a drama club, which allows them to perform locally and to effectively practice their acting skills.Earn Fame and ReputationThe Sims 4: Get Famous lets your Sims earn Fame and Reputation which unlocks new types of interactions and quirks. Your Sim will start with a neutral Reputation. It can be changed by performing certain actions in front of others. Reputation can be either good or bad, and depending on the actions your Sim takes, at one point he will be able to either host charities or lampoon parties.Fame, on the other hand, allows your Sim to gain fame ranks. Gaining fame requires your Sim to interact with others, sell or publish his works, complete gigs in the Actor career, or use scientific inventions. Each fame rank awards your Sim with additional fame points which can be spent on the fame perks. There is 21 perks total, but only 10 points to be gained, so you need to plan carefully which ones you choose.New fame-themed objectsThe Sims™ 4 Get Famous introduces several new objects to be acquired.Among the more interesting ones, it is worth to mention the wearable Celestial Crystal Crown. It can be loaded with crystals you can either find or buy. Each crystal provides a specific temporary bonus which will affect the Sim wearing the crown. The expansion pack also adds items that allow your Sim to start media production, namely the video and music stations, as well as the streaming drones. Start streaming videos and music to gain a substantial amount of fame or upload the recordings and make some simoleons on the side.GameplayThis expansion pack doesn’t introduce any significant changes to the core gameplay. Instead, it focuses on adding multiple celebrity-related items and features to make the game more interesting and diversified.
